New Developments for Religious School Teens

Big News for the 8th and 9th graders: 

On approximately ten Sundays, this cohort will have a new curriculum called “Moving Traditions” which focuses on these students’ social, emotional, and personal well-being through a Jewish lens. On other Sundays, we will be scheduling Judaism Out of the Building (JOTB) local field trips. Each field trip will “count” for 2 Sunday sessions.

Other Big News:

The first day of religious school will be Sunday, August 30th. Then the religious school will be held on Sundays during the following holiday services:  Rosh Hashanah Day 2 (which includes shofar blowing); Sukkot; and Simchat Torah. Based on popular demand, we are also planning another Taschlich at the Beach on Sunday September 20th. When the entire school calendar is finalized for publication, it will be posted on our website along with the school registration form.
