Sisterhood News

We look forward to another great year and encourage every woman to join the RST Sisterhood and find ways to get involved that are both meaningful and enjoyable.

We support the congregation by providing Kiddush luncheons,  Oneg Shabbat receptions and breakfast after morning minyan, running the Sadye C. Nachman Library, subsidizing our children’s USY, camp and Israel experiences, offering a selection of beautiful Judaica in our gift shop, and supporting our Religious School among other things.  Please join us by sending your dues payment to Shelly Portnoy.

High Holy Days
The annual Rosh HashanahOneg is sponsored by RST Sisterhood, and our coordinators for this event are Janet Glasofer and Miriam Strick. Volunteers are needed to bake, set up and clean up.  If you are able to help, please contact Janet Glasofer.

Sukkot
On Sunday, October 12th, Sisterhood and Men’s Club will have a joint dinner in the Sukkah, starting at 5:00 p.m. with Minyan service followed by drinks, dinner and games.  The menu will be a choice of chicken, fish or steak, and a vegetarian option will be available.  The game, “It’s Academic,” will be played, with Sisterhood going up against the Men’s Club.  Come join us and root for your team!
