2025 PORT Winter Shelter

A big thank you to all of our volunteers, and to all those who have donated to our Social Action Fund to help pay for supplies and food that support this effort. This annual tradition of RST to help feed those in need during the holiday season was a success again this year. We had 112 guests come to the shelter at First Baptist Church Denbigh on December 24^th for dinner, overnight stay and breakfast-to-go. The dinner meal was well received and delicious, thanks to Richard Mason who made a hearty vegetarian chili, green beans, and cornbread. Also, thanks to the generous donations of toiletries by our members, we were able to fill 10 hygiene bags for distribution to those in need. This year we had tremendous participation by RST members and others to help with the many tasks to prepare and serve meals. Thank you to this year’s volunteers:
