Did you know that Gemilut Chasadim means “Acts of Loving Kindness”?

We invite you to become a member of our Rodef Sholom Gemilut Chasadim Committee.

Committee members:

  • Call or visit congregants that are home sick or recovering
  • Visit congregants that are in the hospital or are at a rehabilitation center (Adults Only)
  • Help prepare meals for those who may need them after a hospital or rehabilitation center stay
  • Deliver meals during shiva or for those who may need them after a hospital or rehabilitation center stay
  • Provide transportation to and from services and Temple activities
  • Help prepare meals during shiva
  • Attend shiva minyanim

If you or your teen would like to participate, please fill in the sign-up form and return to the Temple office. This is a great way for teens to fulfill their community service requirement.

If you have any questions, please contact Celia Rinaldo, Gemilut Chasadim committee chairperson at 757-874-1657 or crinaldo@verizon.net.

Thank you for helping to provide much-needed acts of loving kindness for our Rodef Sholom community.
